KPT-2012SECK is a surface-mountable, right-angle, 5 mm, bi-color, common cathode Light-Emitting Diode (LED) from Kingbright. It produces alternating red and green output when powered. This component consists of a pair of LEDs mounted side by side in a rectangular housing. The two LEDs can be used to indicate one of many possible status conditions (either green, red, or a mixture of the two). Its epoxy lens is designed to provide a wide angle, diffused emission with a luminous intensity of 160mcd (green) and 50mcd (red). KPT-2012SECK has a reversed-mountable design, and its leads are gold-plated copper. Its low profile allows it to be used in shallow board assemblies, and its high-temperature operation makes it suitable for high-power application.
