The SIT505S with Photo Interrupter Through Hole RoHS manufactured by Kodenshi is an electronic part for sensing and detecting presence through a window of light in its receiving area. Its working principle is based on an infrared LED paired with a phototransistor with a built-in emitter circuit to provide insulation between the emitter and receiver. It provides reliable performance in a compact form factor, allowing easy mounting on a printed circuit board. This part features a low power consumption and a very good response time, as well as a wide operating temperature range. It is RoHS compliant, and is small in size, making it ideal for limited space applications.
