Kubara Lamina's T32-16-12 is a Thyristor Stud, a three-terminal electronic switching device, designed to provide full control of current and voltage to DC motor applications that require strong triggering and hold-off. The device has a voltage rating of 1.2kV, a current rating of 16A, and a maximum gate current of 75mA. It is contained in a TO-48 bulk package, which is a hermetically enclosed ceramic package with mounting hardware included, and its nominal interrupting capacity is 300A. It is capable of blocking high voltages up to its rated voltage, and has a low turn-on current, fast turn-off time, and high dv/dt capability to ensure low gate power consumption.
