HL-A9A-016B Leach

protocol HL-A9A-016B is an extension of the Leach Protocol (Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy) that addresses the problems caused by the high energy consumption incurred by the periodic beaconing process. This extension reduces energy consumption in the network by eliminating periodic beaconing, thus reducing the amount of energy used for communication. The protocol achieves energy savings by dynamically forming clusters based on the residual energy left within the network. The neighbors in the network form clusters by exchanging Move and Join messages, thereby eliminating the need for periodic beaconing. Additionally, the extension also reduces the average time required to cluster the nodes within the network.
