Protocol? The YC-D1N-300M part of the Leach Protocol is a cluster-based routing methodology which allows the data transmission in a distributed wireless sensor network. It uses a novel data gathering structure known as a “time-averaged node-interleaving” approach which allows for the use of multiple nodes in a single transmission. This allows higher data throughput compared to traditional methods. It also provides better scalability and energy efficiency of the network. YC-D1N-300M ensures that each node transmits in a time interval before settling into a periodic transmission scheme. It sends data to the network in a single-hop fashion, preventing data hops through redundant nodes in the network. This protocol can help reduce power consumption in wireless sensor networks.
