The MLX90121EFR-FSK-TU from Melexis is a two-chip RF transceiver that supports multiple frequency-shift keying (FSK) modulation schemes for ultra-low-power short-range wireless applications. It includes a receiver, a transmitter, and an embedded microcontroller, allowing users to set up and control complex data link communication protocols. It features an optimised power consumption of 1.3 mA in receive mode, and 27 mA in transmit mode. The MLX90121EFR-FSK-TU also has high sensitivity and selectivity, while consuming only a fraction of the current of traditional transceivers. Additionally, it provides flexibility in the choice of data rates with a wide range of packet sizes, ranging from 3 bytes to 209 bytes.
