It includes a receiver, a transmitter, and an embedded microcontroller, allowing users to set up and control complex data link communication protocols. It features an optimised power consumption of 1.3 mA in receive mode, and 27 mA in transmit mode. The MLX90121EFR-FSK-TU also has high sensitivity and selectivity, while consuming only a fraction of the current of traditional transceivers.
