The 24LC32AT-I/OT is a 32K (32,768) bit Serial Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (EEPROM) device from Microchip Technology Inc. This device is organized as 4096 words of 8 bits each and has an on-board 2-wire serial EEPROM interface. It is designed to interface with microcontrollers, such as the PIC16F family, and features a low-voltage design that operates down to 1.5V. Its built-in write protection circuitry protects the data from unintentional write-overs, while also preventing accidental cycling of power lines. It also offers a low power consumption and has a cycle endurance of up to 1,000,000 write/erase cycles and a data retention of up to 40 years. The 24LC32AT-I/OT can be used for a variety of applications such as non-volatile storage of user and password data, asset tags, authentication codes, product serial numbers, configuration or calibration settings, and code storage.
