The 25C080/P is an 8K/16K/32K/64K serial EEPROM from Microchip. It has a low-power CMOS design for operation at multiple voltages, and is capable of accessing individual 8-bit bytes or the entire contents of the chip with high data transfer rates. The part is RoHS compliant and operates from 1.8V to 5.5V. It includes special write protection and a self-timing write cycle, and supports both page and byte programming. The 25C080/P is ideal for a wide range of applications such as data storage, code storage, user ID’s, passwords, etc. It is available in 8-pin PDIP, 8-pad SOIC, and 8-pin TSSOP packages.
