The 25C160-I/SN is a 16K-bit Serial-SPI EEPROM (Electrically-Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) manufactured by Microchip. It has a 2K x 8 memory organization, 5V operating voltage, and an 8-pin SOIC N Tube package. It is designed for use in a variety of applications ranging from low-end non-retention memory applications to high-end automotive applications. The 25C160-I/SN is a low-power device operating down as low as 2.5V and is rated to 2.7V for the read and write, making it ideal for low-voltage applications. It is programmed, erased, and read with a three-wire Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI). The 25C160-I/SN supports byte-write and random read operations. It has a maximum endurance of 100,000 erase/write cycles.
