The 25LC320-E/SN is a 32Kb Serial Unbounded EEPROM Memory designed and manufactured by Microchip Technology. It is a nonvolatile memory device with a variety of operating voltages and functions, including a bidirectional serial interface, low-power consumption, and an advanced write protection system. The 25LC320-E/SN offers a 256K word organization and is accessed via an industry-standard two-wire serial interface. It features an ultra-fast write cycle of 5µs, a write protect pin that can be used to prevent inadvertent modifications, and byte write and page write operations. It also provides a memory partitioning function that can be used to partition the memory into 16 sectors each containing 2K words. The 25LC320-E/SN is available in two packages: a space-saving 8-pin SOIC and a 20-pin PDIP. As an alternative, the 25AA320-E/SN is an Automotive Grade alternative of the 25LC320-E/SN.
