The 93LC46B-E/P is a small serial Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory (EEPROM) from Microchip. It has 1 kb of memory and uses the industry standard Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) bus for fast and easy access. This microchip is available in an 8-pin PDIP and operates over a voltage range of 2.7-5.5V. It offers data protection and endurance of up to one million write cycles and up to 100 years of data retention. It also features an additional 4-byte write protection OTP area which can be used to prevent accidental write or program operations, or to store unique identification codes or passwords. Typical applications include auto-calibration storage and storage of system configuration and calibration data.
