The 93LC56AT-I/MC is a 1K-bit (128 x 8) serial EEPROM manufactured by Microchip. It features low-voltage, low-power CMOS technology, an EPROM endurance of 1 million write/erase cycles, and a maximum clock frequency of 1MHz. It is available in a 6-pin SOT-23 package. The 93LC56AT-I/MC is ideal for storing user specific program code, configuration settings and other custom data.
It support the SPI and Microwire serial protocol and data can be written/programmed 8 bits at a time in two write cycles. It also has a unique self-timed write cycle which eliminates the need for additional programming control signals. The device includes a factory-programmed hardware write-protect (HWP) code to protect against accidental programming.
