The AT25080B is a serial-SPI 8K-bit 1K x 8 electrically erasable programmable memory (EEPROM) from Microchip. It is designed to operate over a 2.5V, 3.3V, or 5V supply voltage range and comes in an 8-pin small outline integrated circuit (SOIC) package. The device is capable of being programmed in-system through a standard SPI port as well as off-board via a serial programmer. In addition, it features quad SPI support for fast programming operations. The AT25080B is equipped with a page write protection scheme, allowing up to 8 bytes of data to be written to the device at a time. Additionally, the device is available in a “Bulk” package providing a cost-effective solution for production purposes. The AT25080B is suitable for applications requiring frequently updated firmware, such as remote controls, medical equipment, and GPS systems.
