The AT45DB161D-CU from Microchip is a 16 megabyte (16Mx1) serial DataFlash memory with an SPI interface. It is part of their industrial temperature grade of DataFlash memory products, capable of operating at temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C. It contains two independent dual banks of memory, each possessing 8192 pages of 256 bytes and two configurable page sizes of 256 or 264 bytes. Its enhanced memory technology offers enhanced read performance and low power consumption. It is packaged in an 8-pin SOIC package, with an instruction set that is backwards compatible with the previous AT45D families. It is also ideal for applications such as medical instruments, industrial control, point of sales systems and automotive applications.
