The AT86RF215M-ZU is an RF transceiver module manufactured by Microchip that is designed for use in short range devices, such as those used in IoT and home automation applications. The device features an integrated antenna, and operates in the 2.4GHz frequency band. It is compliant with IEEE 802.15.4 and ZigBee protocols, and supports up to 200kbps data rate. The device is also equipped with an integrated 16-bit MCU that provides easy-to-use RF network configurations. In addition, the device provides AES 128/256 encryption, ultra-low power operation, and reliable communication through DSSS, OFDM, and FSK modulation techniques.
