DSC8001 Series Programmable Low-Power Precision CMOS Oscillator 1.8~3.3V General Description Features Frequency Range: 1 to 150MHz The DSC8001 is a programmable silicon Exceptional Stability over Temperature MEMS based CMOS oscillator offering o 10 PPM, 25 PPM, 50 PPM excellent jitter and stability performance Operating voltage over a wide range of supply voltages and o 1.7 to 3.6V temperatures. The device operates from 1 Operating Temperature Range to 150MHz in increments of 100Hz (up to o Ext. Industrial -40C to 105C four decimal point resolution) with supply o Industrial -40C to 85C voltages between 1.8 to 3.3 Volts and o Ext. Commercial -20C to 70C o Commercial 0C to 70C extended temperatures from -40C to Low Operating and Standby Current 105C. o 5mA Operating (40MHz) The DSC8001 incorporates an all silicon o 15uA Standby resonator that is extremely robust and Ultra Miniature Footprint nearly immune to stress related fractures, o 2.5 x 2.0 x 0.85 mm common to crystal based oscillators. o 3.2 x 2.5 x 0.85 mm o 5.0 x 3.2 x 0.85 mm Without sacrificing the performance and o 7.0 x 5.0 x 0.85 mm stability required of todays systems, a MIL-STD 883 Shock and Vibration crystal-less design allows for a higher level Resistant of reliability, making the DSC8001 ideal for Pb Free, RoHS, Reach SVHC Compliant rugged, industrial, and portable AEC-Q100 Reliability Qualified applications where stress, shock, and vibration can damage quartz crystal based systems.
