The DSPIC33EP64GP506EPT is a 48-pin Enhanced Performance (EP) version of the DSPIC33 family of Digital Signal Controllers (DSCs) from Microchip. This device is an 8-bit, CAN-FD and CAN MCU-based controller with integrated C or Assembly language programming options and supports up to 32KB Flash and 8KB SRAM. The device supports three 10-bit ADC channels, two channels of 8-bit PWM outputs, one SPI/I2C module and two independent UART interfaces with two separate clocks. It has advanced features like run control, enhanced data ECC, register windowing, self-programming with the unique In-Application Programming (IAP) feature, and enhanced peripherals with Event System, direct Memory Access (DMA), and gated peripherals with Core Independent Peripherals (CIPs). These features make this device suitable for use in automotive body control, lighting, and entertainment systems, and motor control applications.
