The KSZ8895MQX/IA is a single-chip 10/100 Mbps 3-Port Ethernet switch and media converter device from Microchip. It provides three integrated Ethernet ports with concurrent 10/100 Mbps data paths, a 7th generation Ethernet F-R-T (twisted pair) Media Access Controller (MACT) subsystem, embedded on a low-power, CMOS device. It is compliant with IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u, IEEE 802.3x and HomePNA 3.1 standards. It also provides an SPI Master/ReaOnly port for adding external memory or serial EEPROM for configuring additional features. It also supports programmable switching functions such as VLAN tagging, QoS, port-based traffic shaping/dropping, packet filtering and forwarding functions.
