When the load impedance decreases beyond Battery-powered Alarm Circuits the MCP1755/1755S load rating, the output current and Smoke Detectors voltage will gracefully foldback towards 30 mA at about CO Detectors 2 0V output. When the load impedance increases and Pagers and Cellular Phones returns to the rated load, the MCP1755/1755S will Smart Battery Packs follow the same foldback curve as the device comes out of current foldback.
