Available 1 LSB DNL, 2 LSB INL maximum in the SOT-23 package, this device provides one sin- 250 A Max Conversion Current gle-ended input with very low-power consumption. 5 nA Typical Standby Current, 1 A maximum Based on an advanced CMOS technology, the 2 I C Compatible Serial Interface MCP3221 provides a low maximum conversion current 2 C Standard mode - 100 kHz I and standby current of 250 A and 1 A, respectively. 2 Low-current consumption, combined with the small - 400 kHz I C Fast mode SOT-23 package, make this device ideal for battery- Up to 8 Devices on a Single 2-wire Bus powered and remote data acquisition applications. 2 C Fast mode 22.3 ksps in I Communication to the MCP3221 is performed using a Single-Ended Analog Input Channel 2 C compatible interface. Standard (100 kHz) 2-wire, I On-Chip Sample and Hold 2 and Fast (400 kHz) I C modes are available with the On-Chip Conversion Clock device.
