TechnologyThe MCP73831T-2ATI/OT is a Supervisor Integrated Circuit (SIC) manufactured by Microchip Technology designed to provide highly accurate and robust battery charging capabilities. The circuit is designed to monitor, control and optimize battery charge states while providing open-drain status outputs that can be easily monitored or interfaced with an external microcontroller. The SIC also features thermal loop regulation to maximize power output while providing short-circuit protection.
