MIC2876 4.8A I , Synchronous Boost Regulator SW with Bi-Directional Load Disconnect Features General Description Up to 95% Efficiency The MIC2876 is a compact and highly efficient 2 MHz synchronous boost regulator with a 4.8A switch. It Input Voltage Range from 2.5V to 5.5V features a bi-directional load disconnect function that Fully Integrated, High-Efficiency, 2 MHz prevents any leakage current between the input and Synchronous Boost Regulator output when the device is disabled. The MIC2876 Bi-Directional True Load Disconnect operates in bypass mode automatically when the input Integrated Anti-Ringing Switch voltage is greater than the target output voltage. At light <1 A Shutdown Current loads, the boost converter goes to the PFM mode to improve the efficiency. Bypass Mode for V V IN OUT Overcurrent Protection and Thermal Shutdown The MIC2876 also features an integrated anti-ringing switch to minimize EMI.
