MIC4606 85V Full-Bridge MOSFET Drivers with Adaptive Dead Time and Shoot-Through Protection Features General Description 5.5V to 16V Gate Drive Supply Voltage Range The MIC4606 is an 85V full-bridge MOSFET driver that features adaptive dead time and shoot-through Advanced Adaptive Dead Time protection. The adaptive dead time circuitry actively Intelligent Shoot-Through Protection monitors both sides of the full-bridge to minimize the MIC4606-1: 4 Independent TTL Inputs time between high-side and low-side MOSFET MIC4606-2: 2 PWM Inputs transitions, thus maximizing power efficiency. Anti Enable Input for On/Off Control shoot-through circuitry prevents erroneous inputs and noise from turning both MOSFETs of each side of the On-Chip Bootstrap Diodes bridge on at the same time. Fast 35 ns Propagation Times The MIC4606 also offers a wide 5.5V to 16V operating Drives 1000 pF Load with 20 ns Rise and Fall supply range to maximize system efficiency. The low Times 5.5V operating voltage allows longer run times in Low Power Consumption: 235 A Total Quiescent battery-powered applications.
