MIC5245 Micrel MIC5245 150mA Cap CMOS LDO Regulator Final Information General Description Features The MIC5245 is an efficient, precise CMOS voltage regulator Ultralow dropout100mV 100mA optimized for ultra-low-noise applications. The MIC5245 of- Ultralow noise30 V(rms) fers better than 1% initial accuracy, extremely low dropout Stability with tantalum or ceramic capacitors voltage (typically 150mV at 150mA) and constant ground Load independent, ultralow ground current current over load (typically 100 A). The MIC5245 provides a 150mA output current very low noise output, ideal for RF applications where quiet Current limiting voltage sources are required. A noise bypass pin is also Thermal Shutdown available for further reduction of output noise. Tight load and line regulation Zero off-mode current Designed specifically for hand-held and battery-powered Fast transient response devices, the MIC5245 provides a TTL logic compatible en- TTL-Logic-controlled enable input able pin. When disabled, power consumption drops nearly to zero. Applications The MIC5245 also works with low-ESR ceramic capacitors, Cellular phones and pagers reducing the amount of board space necessary for power Cellular accessories applications, critical in hand-held wireless devices.
