The device integrates N-channel power MOSFET switches with low on-resistance. Current Hysteretic Step-Down (Buck) Controllers mode control provides fast transient response and cycle-by-cycle current limit. The controller is equipped with output over-voltage protection Hysteretic Step-Down (Buck) Regulators which protects the IC under an open load condition. Additional safety features include under voltage lock-out (UVLO), programmable soft-start and over-temperature protection (OTP). The NX7101 is available in an 8 lead SOIC package.
