The MD8244 is a Linear Voltage Regulator (LDO) with SOT-23-3L package in RoHS compliant manufactured by Mingda. The device is designed to provide fixed output voltage and current up to 500mA as adjustable or fixed voltage regulators, switching power supply, and line repeaters. It is suitable for applications in communications, consumer electronic products, automotive, industrial control, lighting, and other electronic devices. It features an output voltage of 1.0V to 5.0V, -2% accuracy, ripple rejection of 47dB (min), operating temperature up to -40°C to +125°C, low dropout voltage, and quiescent current of 0.5mA (typ). Other features include short circuit detection, thermal shutdown, overload protection, and output short circuit protection. The unit meets UL, FCC, and CISPR EMC safety standards.
