MP2403 3A, 32V, 250kHz Integrated Synchronous Step-Down Converter The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP2403 is a monolithic synchronous buck 3A Output Current regulator. The device integrates a 150m Wide 4.6V to 32V Operating Input Range high-side MOSFET and an 80m low-side Integrated MOSFET Switches MOSFET that provides 3A continuous load Output Adjustable from 0.80V to 28V current over a wide operating input voltage of Up to 95% Efficiency 4.6V to 32V. Current mode control provides fast Programmable Soft-Start transient response and cycle-by-cycle current Stable with Low ESR Ceramic Output Capacitors limit. Fixed 250kHz Frequency An adjustable soft-start prevents inrush current Cycle-by-Cycle Over Current Protection at turn-on. In shutdown mode, the supply Input Under Voltage Lockout current drops to 1 A. Thermally Enhanced 8-Pin SOIC Package This device, available in an 8-pin SOIC APPLICATIONS package, provides a very compact system Distributed Power Systems solution with minimal reliance on external Pre-Regulator for Linear Regulators components.
