MP2452 1A, 36V, 1MHz Step-Down Converter The Future of Analog IC Technology FEATURES DESCRIPTION 1A Continuous Load Current The MP2452 is a high frequency (1MHz) step- 130 A Operating Quiescent Current down switching regulator with integrated Wide 3.3V to 36V Operating Input Range internal high-side high voltage power MOSFET. 500 m Internal Power MOSFET It provides up to 1A highly efficient output 1MHz fixed Switching Frequency current with current mode control for fast loop Internally compensated response. Stable with Ceramic Output Capacitors The wide 3.3V to 36V input range accommodates Internal Soft-Start a variety of step-down applications in automotive > 90% Efficiency input environment. A 3A shutdown mode +0.794V FB Reference Voltage quiescent current allows use in battery-powered Output Adjustable from +0.794V to 33V applications. 3A Low Shutdown Supply Current High power conversion efficiency over a wide 2mm x 3mm QFN8 Package load range is achieved by scaling down the switching frequency at light load condition to APPLICATIONS reduce the switching and gate driving losses. High Voltage Power Conversion Frequency fold-back helps prevent inductor current Automotive Systems runaway during start-up.
