MP28167-A 2.8V to 22V V , 3A I , 4-Switch, IN OUT Integrated Buck-Boost Converter with FB Pin DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP28167-A is a synchronous, four-switch, Configurable Output Voltage via FB Pin integrated buck-boost converter capable of Wide 2.8V to 22V Operating Input Voltage regulating the output voltage across a wide 2.8V Range to 22V input voltage range with high efficiency. 0.08V to 1.637V Reference Voltage Range 2 (1) The integrated output voltage scaling and with 0.8mV Resolution through I C adjustable output current limit functions meet (Default 1V Reference Voltage) USB power delivery (PD) requirements. 3A Output Current or 4A Input Current Four Low R Internal Buck Power DS(ON) The MP28167-A uses constant-on-time (COT) MOSFETs control in buck mode and constant-off-time Adjustable Accurate CC Output Current control in boost mode, providing fast load 2 Limit with Internal Sensing MOSFET via I C transient response and smooth buck-boost 500kHz/750kHz Selectable Switching mode transient. The MP28167-A provides auto- Frequency PFM/PWM or forced PWM switching modes. It also provides configurable output constant Output Over-Voltage Protection (OVP) with current (CC) current limit, which supports flexible Hiccup design for different applications. Output Short-Circuit Protection (SCP) with Hiccup Full protection features include over-current Over-Temperature Warning and Shutdown protection (OCP), over-voltage protection 2 I C Interface with ALT Pin (OVP), under-voltage protection (UVP), One-Time Programmable (OTP) Non- configurable soft start, and thermal shutdown.
