MP6400 Low Quiescent Current Programmable-Delay Supervisory Circuit The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP6400 family is the microprocessor (P) Fixed Threshold Voltages for Standard supervisory circuit which can monitor and Voltage Rails From 0.9V to 5V and provide reset function for system voltages from Adjustable Voltage From 0.4V are Available 0.4V. When either the SENSE voltage falls Low Quiescent Current: 1.6uA typ below its threshold (V ) or the voltage of IT Power-On Reset Generator with Adjustable MR manual reset ( ) is pulled to a logic low, the Delay Time: 2.1ms to 10s R E S E T signal will be asserted. The reset High Threshold Accuracy: 1% typ MR voltage can be factory-set for standard voltage Manual Reset ( ) Input R E S E T rails from 0.9V to 5V, while the MP6400DG(J)- Open-Drain Output 01 reset voltage is adjustable with an external MR Immune to Short Negative SENSE voltage resistor divider. When SENSE voltage and Guaranteed Reset Valid to V =0.8V R E S E T CC exceed their thresholds, is driven to a 6 Pin TSOT23 and 2mm2mm QFN logic high after a user-programmable delay time. APPLICATIONS The MP6400 has a very low quiescent current DSP or Micro controller Applications of 1.6 A typically, which makes it ideal suitable Laptop/Desktop Computers for battery-powered applications. It provides a precision reference to achieve 1% threshold PDAs/Hand-Held Products accuracy. The reset delay time can be selected Portable/Battery-Powered Products by a capacitor which is connected between FPGA/ASIC Applications C and GND, allowing the user to select any DELAY All MPS parts are lead-free and adhere to the RoHS directive.
