The Multi-Tech MTPCIE-DK1 is a development platform for small form factor computing and data acquisition, providing a convenient way to prototype applications and build proof-of-concepts. It includes a standard Mini ITX motherboard, a flexible I/O daughter card, and a rugged aluminum enclosure that allows designers to quickly develop a working prototype and take it to market in a shorter time. The daughter card provides a variety of I/O options, including four USB 2.0 ports, four Ethernet ports, eight digital I/O lines, two serial ports, four analog inputs, and a pull-up resistor to ground. The daughter card also provides access to an array of technology options, such as Wi-Fi, ZigBee, and GPRS/GSM/GPS, Bluetooth and NFC/RFID, and IDE/SATA/eSATA. The aluminum enclosure is built to withstand industrial applications and features air vents for cooling, internal slots for custom expansions, and durable epoxy cable glands for neat cable routing.
