It is a part of the 0402 series EMI filter arrays, a type of component used to reduce the levels of electromagnetic interference (EMI) in electronics. The BLM15GG221SN1D is made from a 0402-sized chip component containing 220 ohms of EMI filter beads which work to filter out interference from surrounding electrical sources. In addition, the filter beads are enclosed in a small, SMT-compatible package which makes it ideal for compact applications which require superior noise-blocking capabilities. The BLM15GG221SN1D from Murata provides efficient, reliable performance in any application requiring improved noise-blocking performance.
