The 558B part of Newport is a small, mostly residential section of the city that runs along Ocean Avenue from the Cliff Walk to the gates of historic Fort Adams. The area includes numerous historic homes, some dating back to the 19th century. Many of the homes have been lovingly restored, offering breathtaking views of Narragansett Bay and the Newport Bridge. The area also features a variety of shops, restaurants, and galleries, as well as a maritime museum, an aquarium, and a community garden. It is a great place to experience the charm of Newport while still having access to all the city’s amenities.
