The 74HC259D.652 is a 8-bit addressable latch from Nexperia. It is an entry-level component from the company's 74HC259D range of products, and offers superior signal integrity and minimal power consumption. The 74HC259D.652 is a Synchronous active-low output latch with three address inputs (A0–A2) enabling the device to select one of 8 data inputs (D0–D7) for the output (Q0–Q7). All the outputs will be latched until the next address code is present. The latch is designed with TTL-compatible inputs and buffered outputs and supports logic level switching of up to 20MHz. In addition, the device is pin compatible with the 74HC259D.653 platform, allowing for simple upgrades and replacements. This part comes in an SO-16 package with exposed thermal pad and is suitable for industrial as well as consumer applications.
