The 74HC259DB.112 is part of Nexperia's 74HC259 family of low-voltage 4-bit addressable latches. It is a 8-Bit programmable buffer and is used as an addressable memory device. The 74HC259DB.112 features a true level-trigger system which is advantageous over edge-trigger systems because it is more reliable and less prone to noise interference. The latch is also addressable and is programmable through address pins A0 to A3 which can be connected to control logic for external system access. It also features an active LOW enable pin which allows for easy activation through three-state logic. The 74HC259DB.112 operates from a single-voltage supply of 2.0V to 4.5V with a maximum clock frequency of 40 MHz. Its robust architecture ensures reliable operation and provides a long service life for use in a variety of applications.
