It is part of Nexperia's 74HC logic family, which is designed to be used in high-speed logic applications. This device utilizes CMOS technology to achieve low power consumption and high noise immunity. It has an asynchronous Up/Down input and an active LOW Reset input. The clock input frequency range is from 1 to 10 MHz and the propagation delay times are between 12 and 40 ns. It includes 8 outputs which are used to drive BCD (Binary Coded Decimal) data format. The 74HC390PW.112 has a temperature range –40°C to +85°C and is available in a plastic DIP package.
