The PMEG4030ER/8X is an ultrafast, low-loss diode produced by Nexperia. It is designed to be used in high-frequency switching and rectification applications. The 8X suffix indicates the package type which is an 8-contact, surface mount, SOD-123 package. The "REEL 7" Q1/T indicates that the part is supplied on 7 inch reels (as opposed to a Tape & Reel) with 1000 parts per reel. The part has a voltage rating of 40V and an average forward current rating of 3A. The diode has a low Quantum Defect forward voltage of 0.45V typical, and a low leakage current of 15µA maximum. It also features a high switching speed, with a reverse recovery time of 15ns maximum.
