Electronics IncThe NTE74LS259 with INTEGRATED CIRCUIT LOW POW manufactured by NTE Electronics Inc is a 8-Bit Addressable Latch with output-enable control, a 4 to 16 decoder and input-strobe control. It is designed for use in TTL and low-power Schottky logic applications. The output enable control info allows for random access and provides improved system speed. The output data can be latched in one clock cycle and the strobe can latch up to 16 outputs at a time. This device also features zero power dissipation in standby mode, making it an excellent choice for low-power applications.
