The RJ45 S-ATM 8-IND Surge Arrestor with Type 2+3; 7.5kA; 4.2VAC; -40÷80°C; IP40; 6.2VDC is a surge protection device manufactured by OBO Bettermann. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic communication networks, such as Ethernet and ISDN from lightning, overvoltage, and other power surges. It is designed to be used in both indoor and outdoor applications, with an IP40 rating for dust proofing and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +80°C. The arrestor features an 8-position insulated RJ45 connector and removable terminal cover with IDC contacts that allow for easy installation. The surge protection is rated for 7.5kA and comes with an integrated varistor that provides a 4.2VAC voltage clamp for electrical noise protection. The varistor also features a 6.2VDC breakdown voltage.
