Additional Infomation About Product

The 6N135 is a RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant optocoupler manufactured by ON Semiconductor. This device consists of an infrared light-emitting diode optically coupled to a photosensitive linear silence logic gate detector it is packaged in a Dual In-Line Package (DIP-8) and can be used for signal transmission between circuits or systems that must be electrically isolated. It has an isolation voltage rating of 5.0 kVrms and can provide reliable galvanic isolation given by its coupler construction. The signal transmitted is DC current (max 50 mA) and it has a maximum power dissipation of 350 mW.
