The CAT24M01HU5I-GT3 is an EEPROM (Electronically-Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory) manufactured by ON Semiconductor. It is a 1 Megabit (Mb) I2C Serial EEPROM, and is a member of the CAT24M family. It supports an I2C multi-unique master bus architecture which is a very advanced version of the I2C bus. The CAT24M01HU5I-GT3 allows for low power consumption, can operate in voltages ranging from 2.5 to 5.5 Volts, and is part of the industrial temperature range (operates from -40°C to +85°C). It also features non-volatile write protection, allowing the memory to remain protected from inadvertent writes when the voltage is less than 2.0V. In addition, it provides 32 bytes page write and block write capability, making it an ideal solution for embedded applications.
