The CM1213-06MR from ON Semiconductor is a six-channel ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD) Protection Array, designed to protect high-speed data lines from electrostatic discharge and other transient voltage events. This device provides an array of ESD suppressors, also known as Transient Voltage Suppressors (TVSs), to protect sensitive circuits against electrostatic discharges that can occur when two objects contact each other and charge quickly transfers between them. The ESD suppressors limit the peak clamping voltage for different data lines, ensuring the circuit remains in a stable operating state. Each channel has an integrated resistor in order to limit excess current flow and meet IEC 61000-4-2 ESD Protection immunity criteria. The device is designed to be used in a variety of applications, such as smart phones, tablets, laptops, and PCs.
