The MC100EP11DR2G is an eight-pin surface mounted device (SMD) manufactured by ON Semiconductor. It is a clock fanout buffer/distribution Integrated Circuit (IC) designed to support frequency range up to 3 GHz. It has 8-pin in the small leaded package which measures 0.154 inches width and 3.90 millimeters width. This clock fanout buffer IC works as a 1:2 distribution line driver. The low propagation delay of only 4 and a half nanoseconds provides data rates of up to 3 Gb/s. Moreover, it offers a high-performance fanout solution for applications that require large number of outputs with low jitter and very low skew. Its low power operation and fast data rate make it an ideal choice for data transfer applications like synchronous and asynchronous memory, high speed CPUs et cetera.
