Additional Infomation About Product

The MOC3021M with Triac & SCR Output Optocouplers DIP-6 NON-ZERO TRIAC manufactured by ON Semiconductor is a 6-pin integrated optocoupler designed to isolate logic signaling up to 600 V peak, between the input and output devices. It includes a fast response, light-activated diac and a silicon bilateral switch in a single package. This device is rated for continuous peak forward current of 1.5 A and trigger LED current of 4 mA. Its non-zero crossing TRIAC output features transient surge withstand capability of 1 A peak current, allowing it to be used for AC and DC applications. The MOC3021M is RoHS-compliant and available in an inexpensive DIP-6 package.
