The NCP1230D165R2G with Switching Controllers ANA PWM CURRENT MODE CONT manufactured by ON Semiconductor is a highly integrated dual-channel controller specific for half-bridge power factor correction (PFC). It integrates two PWM controllers with an adaptive operation mode that supports peak current mode, variable off-time, boundary compensation and open loop control. The NCP1230D165R2G is designed to maximize the system’s power factor, while still providing the highest efficiency and lowest system cost. It also has a temperature-compensated voltage feedback loop, a low total harmonic distortion, and integrated soft-start. The NCP1230D165R2G is an ideal choice for providing high performance half-bridge PFC converters in AC/DC- bridgeless configuration at low system costs.
