flash The OF-PROFMICALUA-2 is a robust and reliable series of Optoflash optical flashes developed by German company Optoflash. This series of flashes provides bright and uniform light pulses for applications such as high-speed photography, machine vision, fluorescence microscopy and image processing. The OF-PROFMICALUA-2 is a modular system made up of two main parts: the main unit and the slave unit. The main unit contains all the components required to generate the flash and includes two power supplies, a power converter and a brushless motor to drive the optically triggered flash head. It also includes a control interface which allows the user to control and adjust various parameters such as flash frequency, intensity and duration. The slave unit connects directly to the main unit and is responsible for triggering the flash and synchronizing it with the light source. It consists of a photocell, a synchronizing and firing circuit, and a zener diode. The zener diode is used to limit the voltage across the photocell to protect it from damage. The synchronizing and firing circuit ensures that all slave units fire simultaneously, at the same time as the main unit.
