The PST4061-42-SOT236 is a Battery Management System (BMS) available in a SOT23-6 RoHS package, manufactured by Phaeton Semi. This PMIC provides a complete set of features necessary for charging and managing Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) and Lithium-Polymer (Li-Poly) batteries in portable devices. It incorporates both a 1-cell battery charger and a li-ion/li-poly low-voltage protector. It features a fast, full-fledged charge current of 1A with two separate charging profiles for consumer grade and industrial grade batteries. It also comes with an accurate low-voltage protection circuit to ensure battery life and safety. Other features include charge cycle timer, low-quiescent current, automatic switching to trickle/top-off charge patterns, and connection to battery sense and thermistor pins. This PMIC is suitable for applications like smartphones, tablets, and portable media players.
