The PJ78L12SQ-L is a linear voltage regulator manufactured by Pingjingsemi in a SOT-89 RoHS package. It is a three-terminal negative-fixed output regulator specifically designed to supply 12V output voltage from input voltages ranging from 7.8V to 40V. The PJ78L12SQ-L offers low dropout voltage (Vd) of 1.25V at 1A load current, and provides current-limiting protection, over-temperature shutdown, and reverse polarity protection. It is designed to offer a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, and comes with a variety of output current (up to 1A) and voltage (12V) options. The device is RoHS compliant and is available in a SOT-89 package.
