The SS3P6AR is a RoHS-compliant, surface-mount Schottky Barrier Diode (SBD) SMA manufactured by Pingwei. This device is a 3-pin SMA type with high-efficiency electronics and low forward voltage drop. It features an efficient schottky barrier diode structure, letting it work as a rectifier with high-speed switching characteristics. This SBD SMA RoHS package has excellent high-temperature reliability and low leakage currents and provides higher power capability compared to ESD protection diodes. It can also absorb ESD strikes up to 8KV human body model. The SS3P6AR is ideal for switching and rectifier applications in automotive, industrial, and telecommunications, amongst other things.
