Additional Infomation About Product

Elettrica's DS series Safety Interlock Switches, the Model KB2A is a electromechanical switch designed for use in machine safeguarding applications. It is suitable for use on doors and other guard entry points and is available as a single or double pole switch. The switch itself has a metal body and comes with a choice of a mushroom head and metal button actuator. It features a hinged cover to protect from tampering, and is also equipped with a door cam for anti-tampering and an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The switch is connected up to the control circuit with the use of a 4-pole M12 connector. It is suitable for installation on doors with a width of up to 2500mm, and has a maximum contact resistance of 20m?. The model KB2A is approved to EN 1088, and is designed to meet the PLe and SIL 3 performance requirements.
